accreditationThis is an exceptional course for young aspiring students who wish to enter the field of Logistics and supply chain management by offering a 3 year program which encompasses on the job training and experience through a work-integrated curriculum.

We have all heard the debates about newly qualified students that battle to find work in their area of expertise due to the fact that they have little or no work experience. These students often go for months or even years of being unemployed and being told they are over qualified for positions.

Work related experience is the key offering of this accredited qualification (The qualification is awarded by the Open Learning Group and accredited by the Council on Higher Education (CHE))

Student who attain this diploma will be equipped to take decisions in the context of a logistics and/or supply chain organisation, to analyse relevant information, and produce innovative responses to concrete but often unfamiliar problems based on informed judgement. Practical decision-making skills will be facilitated by means of case studies.

Hard work and dedication will see the qualified student with a full knowledge of all aspects of the supply chain including evaluating and analysing all aspects of the supply chain to determine where problems or inefficiencies lie.
Have a full understanding and experience of the concepts, theories and principles to formulate a detailed plan for improvement and monitoring supply chain performance.
Have the ability to apply financial expertise specific to the logistics and supply chain environment.

Logistics and Supply Chain Management Diploma Admission

National Senior Certificate (NSC), or equivalent, with English as first or additional language (minimum achievement of 40%).
National or Higher Certificate (NQF 5) in Logistics or Transport Management, or equivalent.
Candidates must meet the minimum requirements for a Diploma programme.
